Welcome to Soet Sonde — home of deliciously handcrafted brookies, blondies, and cookie dough bars. We’re all about fresh bakes, happy hearts, and treating our customers with care. By browsing our website or placing an order, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Who We Are

Soet Sonde is a proudly South African online bakery that crafts small-batch, made-to-order sweet treats. Every brookie, blondie, and cookie dough bar is baked fresh with love and just a pinch of mischief — no shortcuts, no preservatives, and no mass production.

2. Placing an Order

When you place an order through our website, you’re confirming that:

All personal and delivery information provided is complete and accurate.
You are legally allowed to make purchases online or have the consent of a parent/guardian.
You understand that because our bakes are handmade, slight variations in appearance (shape, size, colour) may occur — and that’s part of their unique charm!
You understand that Soet Sonde currently produces a maximum of 30 treat boxes per week. Once that weekly capacity is reached, additional orders will be automatically scheduled for the following week’s batch.
Large or bulk orders (10+ boxes, events, or corporate orders) must be placed at least 1 month in advance to allow for planning and preparation.

3. Processing Time

All orders take 2 to 4 business days to process — this includes baking, cooling, packaging, and preparing for dispatch.

📦 We ship orders on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday only to avoid weekend delays and ensure peak freshness.

⏰ Orders placed after 12:00 PM on Wednesdays will be shipped the following Monday.

4. Delivery & Shipping

We ship exclusively through PUDO Locker Delivery by The Courier Guy. Safe, secure, and sweetly convenient.

We use the S Locker size for all orders.

🚪 PUDO Locker-to-Door Delivery
R90.00 total
Delivered from our locker straight to your home address.
Please enter your full and correct home address at checkout.

✨ Free Delivery Over R1000

Orders over R1000 qualify for free PUDO Locker-to-Locker delivery.

📦 Returned Parcels & Re-Delivery Fee

If a parcel is returned to Soet Sonde due to not being collected from a locker or an incorrect/ incomplete delivery address, a R100 admin + re-delivery fee will be charged before the parcel is sent again.

⚠ Soet Sonde is not responsible for misdeliveries caused by incorrect, incomplete, or missing locker/address information.

🚫 Standard door delivery and overnight delivery options are not currently available — but we’re working on adding them soon. Once launched, they’ll be added to this policy

5. Refunds & Returns

Because our treats are perishable and made to order, we do not offer refunds or accept returns.

However, if your order arrives in less-than-perfect condition due to an error on our part, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We’ll need:

• Your order number
• Clear photos of the issue

If the issue is verified and falls within our responsibility, we may offer:

• A replacement (if available)
• A store credit
• Or, in rare cases, a refund

⚠ We cannot issue refunds for:

• Damages caused during transit
• Delays due to courier handling
• Treats left uncollected or stored improperly after delivery

6. Payments

We currently accept:

• Payfast (secure online gateway)
• Direct EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer)

All orders must be paid in full before we start baking. Additional payment methods may be added in future.

7. Your Responsibility

To keep things sweet between us, you agree to:

Double-check your delivery or locker details before placing your order
Track your parcel once shipped
Collect your order promptly from your locker or accept delivery at your address
Avoid ordering during extreme heat if concerned about melting
Understand that our weekly box capacity may increase in the future as our team grows, but until then, order limits protect freshness and fairness for all customers
Understand that we offer Treat Boxes only (no individual items)

8. Updates & Changes

We may update these Terms & Conditions as we grow. Any changes will appear here, so feel free to check back anytime.

9. Legal Bits

This agreement is governed by the laws of South Africa. By using our website and placing an order, you agree to all terms listed here.
