At Soet Sonde, we pour our heart into every brookie, blondie, and cookie dough bar we make. Each treat is freshly baked, made to order, and lovingly packaged — just for you.

Because our goodies are perishable and handcrafted in small batches, we’ve put together this simple, transparent policy to help you understand how we handle refunds, deliveries, and any potential hiccups.
🧁 Placing an Order
Once your order is placed and payment is received, it is final and confirmed.
This means:
• You cannot cancel your order after checkout.
• You are responsible for providing the correct delivery details.
• By placing your order, you agree to this Refund & Delivery Policy.
We bake to order — so your treats go into production shortly after your payment clears.
👉 Capacity Note: Soet Sonde is a small-batch bakery. To protect freshness and prevent burnout, we currently accept a maximum of 30 boxes per week. Orders placed after this limit will automatically roll over to the following week’s shipping schedule.
🎉 Bulk orders (10+ boxes, events, or corporate gifting) must be placed at least 1 month in advance to allow for planning, ingredient sourcing, and scheduling.
❌ Refunds & Returns
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not offer refunds or accept returns under the following circumstances:
• You changed your mind after ordering.
• You selected the wrong item by mistake.
• You entered incorrect or incomplete delivery information.
• You missed the delivery or failed to collect your order in time.
• You were unaware of our policies.
We cannot issue refunds for delays or damages caused by the courier, weather conditions, or customer error.
💬 If Something Goes Wrong With Your Order
If there’s an issue on our side, we’ll always do our best to make it right.
Please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order if:
• You received the wrong item(s).
• Your order arrived stale, spoiled, or clearly damaged before dispatch.
To assess your case, we’ll need:
• Photos of the product(s) and original packaging
• Your order number and the date of delivery
• A brief description of the issue

• A replacement (if available)
• A store credit
• Or, in rare cases, a refund
⚠ Claims submitted after 24 hours or without sufficient proof may not be accepted.
📦 Delivery & Courier Information
✅ Delivery Address Responsibility
Please ensure your shipping information is accurate.
If you provide the wrong address:
• We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries.
• Any re-shipping fees will be charged to you.
• Returned parcels carry an additional R100 admin fee before re-delivery.
📮 PUDO Locker Deliveries (S Locker Size)
We currently deliver exclusively via PUDO Locker Delivery through The Courier Guy.
You may choose between:
Locker-to-Locker Delivery (3–5 Business Days)
• R70.00 total
• Delivered from our locker to the PUDO locker of your choice
• Be sure to include the exact PUDO Locker name or address at checkout
• If no locker is provided, we’ll send your order to the nearest available locker based on your shipping address
Locker-to-Door Delivery (3–5 Business Days)
• R90.00 total
• Delivered from our locker directly to your home address
• You must enter your full and correct residential address at checkout
⚠ Please note, we are not responsible for:
• Lockers that are full, offline, or experiencing delays
• Items not collected before the locker’s hold period expires
• Incorrect locker details or home address errors entered at checkout
📦 Shipping-Related Damage
Our packaging is designed to protect your treats — but once they’re handed to the courier, they’re out of our hands.
We are not liable for:
• Broken, melted, or squashed items during transit
• Treats damaged due to rough courier handling
• Goods left in extreme heat or sun after delivery
💡 If you’re unsure about ordering during a heatwave or for long-distance delivery, feel free to reach out before placing your order.

Right now, we’re only offering PUDO Locker deliveries — but we’re working on adding:
• Standard Door Delivery (3–5 Business Days)
• Overnight Shipping (1–2 Business Days)
